Once Again - it's been a while

I posted a new slide show for some (the few) people I know that don't have Facebook.
I will give an update at a later date of most recent things happening (which is not much), but God has blessed us beyond what we could imagine that's for sure! :-)

Wow! Where do I start?

Since my last post I've quit Avon for now. Who knows, might start up again some day.
Also, I had 2 surgeries. Don't get me wrong, all babies are a miracle, but we never knew how much of a miracle our Dil was exactly til July. Sometimes God will reveal to us things we wonder "why" about and sometimes we never will know. This was one time we actually got insight to our trying to have kids. It would not have mattered who I married in life; I just had some messed up parts inside me -lol. We are so very blessed to experience being a parent. I also thank God for the doctors he put in my life amongst my 4 pregnancies. I really like to help people and I know God put us through that so we can comfort others along their journey. I pray that I can be that mentor someone needs.

In late October we moved to San Antonio. We are first time home buyers here. We have so much to be thankful for amongst moving here though. There must be some reason God has for us being moved much further away from family. We are still looking for a church home; there's plenty to visit - just finding the one our family is supposed to be a part of.
Well, I haven't quite figured out what my purpose is here in SA. I am wanting to start back to school again. I was getting ready to before we moved from NE last year, but then out with that.... So, I just missed the cut off for the semester starting in January. I am really praying for some direction in all this since it's pretty scary for an almost 36 yr. old with a "mommy" brain now to put my "school thinking cap" on.

Been so long........

Wow! I almost forgot we had a blog. I guess you can tell that by now.
For those of you that happen to come here anymore......... I'm starting Avon. Just got signed up last night. I do have a website www.youravon.com/staceymyers . We'll see how it goes, but I figure it will be fun, if not I'm only out $10.

Time as a Family or with Family

This will just be an assortment of pictures being posted today.
Now, I decided to do a slide show since I don't blog enough and had an interesting time trying to do picture/writing/picture, etc.

Dillon had 2 teeth pulled at the dentist Monday. Everything went great. We will being going through that several times it sounds like though. He just has too many teeth and not enough room.

A couple of Saturdays ago my parents came over for the day. They had Alex (my brother's girl) and Ashby (my sister's girl). So, Dillon had such a good time playing with Alex. He showed her "his" playground (it's outside our apt. bldg.) and we also took them on base to see the static aircraft displays. The weather was perfect.

On Tuesday night we met with all my immediate family at Salt Grass to eat for mine and my sister's birthdays (I totally forgot to get a pic of the two of us). Since our birthdays are a couple weeks apart we did them together since it's so hard to get everyone in one place at one time.

One afternoon this week we went to a place that has putt-putt along with many other things to do. We just played putt-putt that day. It was Dillon's first time and he really enjoyed it.

So, I will try to blog sooner next time, but this got us caught up on recent happenings in the Myers house lately.

The Next Tooth Came Out

Well, I had forgot I said to stay tuned for the next tooth that came out. So, there's something about Sundays that make Dil's teeth want to pop out. Saturday night we tried pulling it, but it just wasn't quite ready. Sunday during lunch after crunching on it, Dil said, "what was that?" It startled him at first, but then he was fine. After swishing with some salt water, him and Dad went out to through the football for a while. Given mine and Cody's history of our teeth the poor kid doesn't stand a chance. We made our first trip to his new dentist here in Louisiana and saw he has too many teeth going to come in and not enough room. On Feb. 16 he will most likely have 2 teeth pulled in order just to help out a little with what will come in the future.

You know when you become a parent you really don't get pics of the both of you together very often without the kid in it, so.......... here we are. This was taken at Cody's parents house the other day. This is a huge pine tree to the side of their house.

Christmas Cookie Day

Our cookies aren't the most professional looking, but we sure have lots of fun as a family decorating them. This is the third year of our cookie-making tradition. Dillon loves creating his own cookies, and then promptly eating them :-).
